Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Unremarkable

Very quiet in the shop this morning.

I took some clothes from my wardrobe, priced them and hung them on the ‘pre-loved’ rack.

I had a great conversation with the Stinger Lady and we realised that we know twelve of us in town who have the same beliefs about the current global situation. That number is surprising considering the conservative/conformist nature of the population!

It’s nice to know we have allies and that we can share information as it comes to hand.

A local business owner shared with me that she lost her Mum recently and because her Mum lives in VIC, she can’t attend the funeral. A very difficult thing to come to terms with.

Nothing else of interest happened.

When I arrived home, I got changed, hung out some washing, made a late lunch and sat down to watch a fluffy Netflix movie.

I’m watching the footy right now but feeling quite weary at 9pm. Adoring Husband has already gone to bed, even though he has slept for about 4 hours in the chair since we got home.

Our lavender garden is looking quite lovely …

… thanks to AH.

I’m looking forward to a lazy Sunday.

Verrrry Interesting

On 5th September I posted on here, five of the 73 pages of adverse events as listed on the Australian Government Department of Health website. I had researched and collected that information in late August.

As of today, the ‘adverse events’ page has been unavailable for ten days …

Really???

Verrrry interesting.

It will be interesting to compare the data if/when it returns to see if the numbers have changed dramatically.

Later: Tonight I’ve checked the site again and they have changed the website so that this information is longer accessible. Instead they provide the usual mainstream BS that tells us nothing of the dangers. The facts have now been removed.

Here is a Dr who survived Covid 19 and now has natural immunity (he tests his antibodies regularly) and whose family have all been vaccinated. Having made it his mission since Covid began, he has worked tirelessly to find the truth and he collaborates with many doctors, scientists and doctor’s groups worldwide. He shares some interesting points that the media won’t.

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/dr-peter-mcculloughs-5-most-important-truths-about-covid-19/

I’ve watched a 90 minute talk by him, on a platform called ‘Telegram’ (that does not censor anything - unlike mainstream social platforms) and his information is eye opening.

He is one of hundreds of qualified doctors and scientists attempting to break through the BS and provide the truth for us.

But the media barrier is a difficult one to break through. The heightened fear in the general public is also difficult to dissipate.

These doctors and scientists have nothing to gain financially. They want the truth to be known so that we can take control of our health.

Today was a great day at the shop.

I could have happily locked the doors and returned home at 10am because sales in that first hour were more than I expected for the entire day!

I found another box from Wednesday’s delivery which contained a couple of birds on a branch statues.

To fill time til his coffee date with Big Bob, Adoring Husband discarded all the cardboard boxes that had accumulated in the training room.

He also checked the mail and did my banking.

He’s a very handy PA.

The Brains Trust came for a visit mid walk.

A few of this weeks customers popped in to say goodbye and enjoy a final spend before heading home.

I checked my emails and responded to the important ones. The next couple of weeks will be full of deliveries. Handbags, wallets, purses, clothes, wine coolers, sunglasses cases, a new range of reed diffusers, bath salts and soy melts.

I have business cards, postcards and stickers coming. My new rolls of wrapping paper and tissue paper arrived this week.

It’s all happening!

There is a party happening at a neighbour’s house across the road. It has been very noisy but seems to be settling now. At first I was a bit annoyed but I decided to send ‘love and light’ in that direction instead. It sounded like a big family gathering with kids and loud happy people. Love and light 🥰🌻🦋

I think it’s time to sleep now.

Low Down

Sales were low.

They didn’t reach my happy minimum.

However … this afternoon, two ladies asked me to hold $240 worth of ‘stuff’ until tomorrow morning when they will return with their purse and five friends. They had left for their walk empty handed.

I unpacked most of the new stock and rearranged some display areas to make space.

I tidied some of my desk area, but there is still a way to go.

I decluttered one cupboard to make room for packaging.

I signed three agreements with my accountant.

I ordered some printer ink because my printer refuses to print even though I have plenty of black ink!

I made a prawn and avocado sandwich for lunch and enjoyed my break with a cup of tea.

Adoring Husband arrived looking pretty spiffy in his new SES uniform to help me close the shop.

When I arrived home, I made my afternoon pot of anti-inflammatea and put my feet up to watch 2 Netflix movies. “The Afterlife of the Party” and “Worth”. I quite liked both of them, but both brought me to tears so I was feeling a bit drained by the end.

No dinner for me tonight.

In between all the stuff, I’ve resumed researching all things Covid and am discovering some pretty amazing stuff, some of which I’ll be sharing from time to time, so be prepared for an education.

For now, I’m ready for sleep.

Nite all.

Hectic Wednesday

I slept soundly from 10pm til 2.30am but it took an hour to get back to sleep after I got up to pee and then the alarm woke me at 6am.

All things considered, I woke up feeling pretty refreshed with plenty of energy … until about 1pm when my energy was completely drained and I’d have enjoyed a nap at the shop if those pesky customers hadn’t kept walking through the door!

Meditation this morning was amazing. Instead of the usual lesson and discussions, we meditated for the entire hour. The hour felt like 15 minutes and we were all surprised at how quickly the time passed. Our bodies went into total relaxation mode and I felt like I was floating for about an hour afterwards.

The Gypsy and I had some quality time afterwards and the girls didn’t stay long in the training room.

The shop began to get get busy at about 10.15am and it was steady going for most of the day. Sales were really good but I didn’t have time to unpack the five boxes of stock that arrived on Tuesday and another box arrived today. Yet another will probably land on the doorstep tomorrow and there is still one more due after that.

So much to do, so little time!

My desk is a disaster area and is beginning to feel a bit overwhelming.

I was very pleased when Adoring Husband arrived to close the shop and it felt good to change into my slobberdog clothes and put my feet up for the afternoon.

I made lamb fritters for dinner and we watched our favourite TV show - Gogglebox. The new series started tonight.

Now it’s time to sleep.

Busy Start

It has been a busy start to the week.

Adoring Husband was unwell this morning so I rode my trike an hour early to work so that I could clear the tables and art stuff from the training room. It was a bloody mess, but I managed to clear most of it and open the shop with time to spare.

I didn’t have much time with the girls this morning because there were a LOT of customers through the door. Very few spent money but they certainly kept me on my toes.

The Happy Hippy came to clean and caught up with all the dusting. I’ve been asking her to steam clothes for the last two or three weeks so the dust was building.

I was expecting 5 boxes of stock to be delivered today but it didn’t arrive until 1.30pm which gave me no time to unpack it before the journaling class and then we had to find somewhere to store it because the training room had to be clear for meditation.

An unexpected phone call brought me a visitor to the shop just before lunch. The woman is from Bargara and she makes reed diffusers, soy candles, bath salts and soy melts. The packaging and designs are gorgeous and the scents are delicious so I can’t wait to have them displayed in the shop. It will take two weeks for her to create my order.

I registered for wholesale access to IRONCLAY which is an Australian jewellery designer who has her pieces created with Mexican silver IN Mexico - her ancestry is part Mexican. The pieces are beautiful and I’ve already selected a couple for my personal collection 🤣🤣🤣

Journaling class went well and afterwards we set up for meditation.

I cooked crispy skinned salmon for Adoring Husband’s dinner and served it with salad. I shelled my two crabs and had a big fat crab sandwich.

Now, it’s not even 9.30pm and I’m ready to curl up in bed. I can feel a big week ahead of me.

Bad But Good

Even though I felt much better this morning, it was difficult to get moving and to start my day.

I received a voice mail from the local delivery guy telling me that he had five boxes to deliver to the shop. I returned his call five times but he didn’t answer and by the time he called me back, we were already in The Bay. So I can expect a big haul on Tuesday morning.

My first stop was Tinkerbell’s on The Esplanade where I purchased this …

and I put something very similar to this on layby …

It’s pink amethyst with druzy (perfectly formed crystal growths).

From there we drove to Aquavue where we each savoured a Saltnpepper Calamari salad for an early lunch.

Bunnings was next. Six lavender plants for the garden bed near the pool gateway and a planter pot for my bedroom guardian plant.

We parked upstairs at Stocklands with the intention of visiting the two new stores that opened there last week. TJMaxx was disappointing. Their prices were higher than I expected and their range of clothing was pretty daggy.

Fresh and Save - not impressed and I doubt that I’ll return.

I was, however, excited to see a pop up Su Jus Cafe right outside so AH and I sat down to drinks and muffins.

I channelled Beautiful Girl With Long Blonde Hair and bought two white tops from Just Jeans.

On my list, I had canvases and 4 balls of 4ply cotton so I trotted across the car park to spotlight. They had no canvases and no balls of cotton in the colours that I wanted.

Bugger.

We finally left for home, but on the way, stopped at Craignish for some fresh seafood.

AH waited in the car and when I returned, he tried to start the car but it was as dead as a doornail!

Flat battery.

AH was too stressed to make the call, so I phoned RACQ and they gave us a wait time of one hour.

The RACQ truck pulled up beside us 25 minutes later. He replaced the battery and we were driving into this before the hour was even up.

We were both too buggered to be bothered with a cooked dinner so toasted lamb, tomato and onion sandwiches for AH and a prawn sandwich for me.

It’s now after 11pm and I have to be at work early to clear the art stuff from the training room so it’s sleep time for me.

Nite all.

Restfully Me

I’ve been in ‘rest and recovery’ mode so I have done nothing much at all today.

I imagine it will take a week to heal my insides after yesterday’s alcohol poisoning episode. I had a restless night with leg cramps, heartburn and an upset tummy.

My intake today has been lots of filtered water, 2 bananas, anti-inflammatea, a small serve of roast lamb and vegetables (thanks Adoring Husband) and a lamb, tomato, onion sandwich.

I’ve had lots of naps and began to feel better this afternoon.

I watched the new Cinderella movie on Prime Video which wasn’t bad.

Of course I did some more research.

You can see that there are 73 pages to this report - all adverse events of the vaccine.

It’s well after midnight and we are off to The Bay tomorrow so I should sleep now.

Nite all.
