A "funny" to start your day ...
So I woke up and my dog is laying on the back patio covered in dirt with a rabbit in his mouth. The rabbit's not bloody, just dirty. My neighbor's kids raise blue ribbon rabbits. I instantly knew it was one of theirs.
I took the rabbit away from my dog, rushed inside, and washed all the dirt off it before my neighbors could come home. It was stiff but I heard some animals play dead when they are afraid but I couldn't remember which ones. I took it and placed it back in one of the cages in their back yard then I ZOOMED back home. (Don't judge me)
Not 30 minutes later I hear my neighbors screaming so I go out and ask them what's wrong?
They tell me their rabbit died three days ago and they buried it but now it's back in the cage.

I decided which photo to submit in the 52Frames themed week of "Details" which ends on Sunday...
It is currently covered with flowers and fruit in different stages of growth.
I saw a solo bee having a lovely time flying from flower to flower gathering all the yellow powdery goodness.
The extra challenge this week is to use a macro lens - which is great for capturing creatures that remain still, but not so good for capturing a bee in flight.
After much persistence, I finally got the above shot which I'm reasonably happy with. Still not as sharp on the bee as I'd like, but it'll do.
Today, I watched the old movie "Logan's Run" which stars Michael York, Peter Ustinov and Farrah Fawcett.
Great concept, but it really was a terrible movie. It was made in 1976 but that's no excuse.
I spent some time in the kitchen and made 3 meals of spaghetti bolognese sauce and 2 meals of butter chicken to freeze for next week, or whenever I don't feel like cooking.
I'll be photographing a wedding on Sunday from 3pm - 6pm so I won't be home to cook for the team.
Right now, I'm sitting up in bed watching the Broncos get beaten by the Roosters. It's half time and the score is 20 - 12. Very unexpected at this point so let's see if Broncos can pull themselves together in the second half.
Time to snuggle down under the covers and support my team.
Nite all.
