The numbers of Doctors and Scientists all over the world who are trying to get information out into the world about the facts and their findings over the last 4 months regarding this pandemic is amazing.
The censorship of this information by the social media platforms is equally amazing.
I have watched about 50 videos and interviews over the last few days. Videos made by doctors on the frontline, those working in ICUs in New York, California, Washington and a couple of the European hospitals and they are telling us completely different information to what the media are telling us.
Some videos get deleted or removed almost immediately with a message saying they “don’t abide by the rules or beliefs” of eg youtube, Facebook or whatever platform.
Luckily these Drs and Scientists are persistent and continue to load their videos while many other people are sharing them and trying to get the word out there.
These are the people that we should be listening to.
Anyway, this is my favourite one for the last 24 hours. It goes for an hour but this Dr provides facts, figures, stats and information about the virus plus info about strengthening your immunity and how to prevent infection.
Dr Erickson explains Covid 19
Adoring Husband and I drove into The Bay today and it really felt like the supermarkets shelves were almost back to normal.
We found toilet paper in three different supermarkets! It was a good day!
Sleep time for me.
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
