I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!

I love it when info falls into my lap.
Vaccinated vs Unvaccinated (7 minutes)
It was almost 10am when I woke up this morning! I think I’m still catching up on the sleep I lost when I was sick.
I began to watch a 2 hour interview with a 77 yr old activist/scientist who has spent her entire life researching, investigating, documenting and writing books about Weather Engineering, Chemical/Electromagnetic Engineering, Planetory/Geophysical Engineering, Directed Energy Weapons, Surveillance/Neural Manipulation, Nanotechnology/Digital Synbio/Transhumanism, Cloaking/Obscuration/detection of exotic propulsion craft and plasma life forms.
Two hours was not long enough.
Everything that she talked about was mesmerising, intriguing, interesting and eye opening.
Whenever I think I’ve heard everything, the universe opens my mind even further and I so wish my mind had been opened decades ago. I’m so hungry to know and learn more.
Perhaps in my next life I can come back as a courageous truth teller who can open the minds of people like me who just need one little prod to begin seeing the world for what it is.
I watched the first ten minutes and decided to pause it while I made some tea and toast, then I migrated to my art space where I made myself comfortable in the sun on a lounge chair, set my phone on a bamboo stand and pressed ‘play’.
I plan on watching the interview again so that I can take notes but I will also purchase her latest book which apparently consists of 650 pages!
As a 16 yr old, she got to have morning tea with President Kennedy just 3 months before he was assassinated. The private conversation that she had with him, set her on the path of activism and boy oh boy, has she got some stories to tell!
The interview was interrupted by lunch when BGWLBH called me in to share another healthful grazing platter.
After I finished the interview, I had a couple of business errands to finalise which took a bit over an hour.
Chicklet’s iPad died on her yesterday so I reset my iPad mini that I’d been using at the shop and sent that down Express Post. I imagine she’ll be struggling without her device!
The three of us played YouTube trivia for the afternoon until dinner time when we sat down to the usual Friday night fare.
In the marinade this week, I added half a teaspoon of the “f#@king hot” (as stated on the label) chilli sauce, which we hadn’t been game enough to use until now, and it knocked the socks of BGWLBH and AH.
I loved it and AH wants me to put a whole teaspoon in it next time. Personally, I don’t think he can handle it, but we’ll see!
My bedroom is icy cold tonight. Until about ten minutes ago, the cold breeze was floating through the window. Now the air is still.
It’s almost midnight and I’d like to wake early to get a start in the art space tomorrow. It would be great to be able to sit down and create something before the end of tomorrow.
Nite all.

I woke to an empty house.
Adoring Husband had to take the car in for a major service early this morning and BGWLBH followed him in with a very long list of errands to run. He dropped the car at the service centre and then joined BGWLBH in her car.
So I got up, made myself tea and toast and sat in my art space to enjoy the peace and solitude.
My peace and solitude didn’t last long because had to attend a funeral so at 10.45am. I jumped on my trusty trike and pedalled to my old shop where I parked the trike and hurried my way on foot, to the church around the corner.
It was a big funeral, though not as big as I expected - I had a dream last night that 50,000 people marched down the main street to the church! No idea where that came from!
The church pews filled fast and I found a seat in the side room. People stood at the back of the room and on the ramp outside as well as on the front porch and steps of the church.
The Fisher King, being the oldest son, stood at the front of the church with his brothers beside him for support and told fabulous stories about his father.
It takes such courage and strength to stand in front of an audience to speak about the person who passed, and even more so when that person is your parent. The Fisher King was amazing and by the time he’d finished, I felt like his Dad had been my close friend.
He had us all laughing out loud at his father’s antics and he had us all crying when he himself became emotional right at the end.
It was one of the most authentic and down to earth funerals I’ve ever attended and I’m so pleased that I made the effort.
Afterwards, I found The Motivator outside and we shared a long warm hug.
I caught up with a few others but decided to not attend the Howard Cemetery for the burial and instead did a very big shop, loaded it all in the back of my trike and when I arrived home, spent almost an hour unpacking and then repackaging the meat to freeze.
I had to climb the ladder to store some of the food on the top shelf of the pantry and some went out to the pool kitchen and fridge.
After an hour of rest, BGWLBH arrived without Adoring Husband with the car loaded up with more food! So I unpacked it all and found homes for everything.
I unpacked all the bread and placed 2 slices in each ziplock bag to freeze.
After that, there were 6 pineapples to de head, peel and chop to also place in ziplock bags for future smoothies.
It was 4.20pm when I got to sit down again. I only had 30 minutes before it was time to prepare dinner.
Sweet and spicy chicken thighs with leftover sweet potato mash, the last of the leftover zucchini muffins, broccoli and zucchini.
Everybody was exhausted and went to bed early except for me.
My sister, Squirt, phoned me and we chatted for 90 minutes while St George annihilated South Sydney in the football.
Now it’s 11.30pm and I’m really tired so it’s sleep time for me.
Nite all.

I hope that tomorrow I can say 100% back to normal health.
Who would even know it’s Winter?
I slept all night with the fan on in my room and the temperature was very mild at the park when we met the girls for our weekly catch up.
Klocka came laden with a freshly made sticky date pudding with caramel sauce. The aroma was almost as delicious as the taste of that warm, moist, melt in your mouth pudding. We were grateful to be her Guinea pig taste testers.
She will have a winner when she serves it up to her six house guests next week.
To - die - for.
She also brought along a piece of textured art that she’d created during the week.
Another winner. It was impressive and BGWLBH and I feel inspired. I think we’ll be working in that art space by the weekend.
It was a great morning that lasted 2.5 hours. Stories were told with great hilarity and in response, we laughed uncontrollably and sometimes experienced pleasurable pain. There is a fine line between pleasure and pain!
Great fun.
After we said our goodbyes, BGWLBH and I picked up a couple of parcels from the PO and made our way home to prepare lunch.
I made lettuce wraps with the choice of curried egg or tuna/avocado, served with zucchini muffins and cherry tomatoes.
I spent some time organising the art room while I waited for a lady to come purchase some stands that I’d advertised in marketplace.
It was time to put my feet up for a couple of hours before making duck breast with a spicy orange sauce, served with sweet potato mash, broccoli and carrot.
It was delicious.
I made another fruit whip for dessert.
I thoroughly enjoyed my day.
Now it’s time for sleep.
Nite all.

These symptoms are taking their time to disappear completely. It’s a little bit annoying.
I think it was about 9.30am when I left my bedroom and found my way to the kitchen to make a smoothie using pineapple, banana, passion fruit and coconut water.
There was enough for three full glasses. Perfect.
I joined BGWLBH under the Bali hut and we drank our smoothies together while sharing TikTok videos.
I moved into the art space and started clearing and moving. I posted two more ads on marketplace to sell some display stands and sold one lot almost immediately.
BGWLBH made a grazing platter for lunch. Grapes, blueberries, mandarins, rockmelon, pear, cheese, carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado dip, crackers and leftover chicken drumsticks.
After lunch, it took an hour to pull apart my Zazen water filter, clean it, replace the silver stones and the antioxidant beads as well as the filter cartridge and the filter dome. It was a much bigger job than I expected!
Back to the art space. BGWLBH made a sign which I will photograph tomorrow. We moved a cabinet, a chair and a trolley of coloured drawers, filled a couple of cube boxes and then gave up for the day.
I decided to make zucchini muffins, sweet potato chips, beans and baked barramundi for dinner.
For the baked barramundi, I melted 100gms of butter in a saucepan with 4 minced garlic cloves, grated fresh ginger (about 1 inch), the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of the very hot chilli sauce that we got from Maryborough markets 2 weeks ago.
I placed three barramundi fillets in a baking pan lined with baking paper and poured the butter mixture over the fish. I placed the pan in a hot oven (200°C) for 20 minutes.
Bloody beautiful!
We had fruit whip for dessert, but had to play trivia while we waited for the fruit whip to soften out of the freezer.
So, all things considered, I had a very busy and productive day and I’m looking forward to tomorrow and having a morning with the art girls and more time organising the art space in the afternoon.
Time for sleep.
Nite all.

Day of Rest
I took it really easy today.
I could have pushed myself to get stuff done but I felt like I was teetering on the fine line between illness and health. My body was telling me to just take it easy. Just slowly ease yourself over the line to health.
My day was spent sitting quietly on the couch watching the football and playing trivia with my support team.
I had tea and toast for breakfast.
Chicken bone broth for lunch.
Two boiled eggs for dinner.
Pineapple, banana and mango fruit whip for dessert.
I, along with everybody else, am doing very well in the tipping comp with none wrong so far and one more game remaining.
Now, I’m sitting up in bed watching “Gone Girl” which I’ve never seen before.
Interesting movie.
Nite all.
