Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Substantial

I enjoyed substantial sales today.

I had a lovely visit from a couple who are friends with my little sister - the man actually used to play golf with my Dad, but this is Barb …

I logged in to the live streams of peaceful marches against the mandates regarding unvaccinated. The numbers were substantial!

Cairns …

Brisbane …

Perth …

Melbourne …

Sydney …

Substantial right!?

500,000+ Australia wide peacefully protesting.

The Facebook pages that I normally follow and where I would usually get my information have all been shutdown today - for not following Facebook rules - censorship at its finest - for posting video footage and photos of today’s marches.

Interestingly in the searches I did in Google, they mentioned ‘hundreds’ or ‘thousands’ of protesters. Not tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands. The photos they chose for their stories showed smaller groups in selected areas.

The live streams I watched today showed vast seas of people moving along the streets and as I said, the numbers were substantial!

This afternoon Adoring Husband and I dropped off a kids car seat to Burrum Babes Boss Lady who has grandkids coming to stay soon. She introduced us to her new puppy, Tilly. The cutest softest little fluff ball still with that delicious puppy smell

Then it was time to take advantage of the warm weather and jump in the pool. Even AH joined me!

I swam some laps and lay in the sunshine on one of the new fold out sunbeds. Both the water and the sun were perfect.

After we came inside, AH made us a coffee with the new machine and we plonked ourselves in front of the TV to watch a Netflix movie starring The Rock, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. We enjoyed it!

We had the last of our GF Tortillas for dinner. We are cleaning up our diet so tortillas are off the list and we’ll be focusing on fresh food. After five days, my body is already feeling better for it so I’m looking forward to feeling like a brand new person soon!

Now it’s time for bed - which reminds me, I’m already sleeping more soundly!

Nite all.

Support Plus

It’s super encouraging to know that my community is so supportive.

In the twenty four hours since I posted the ‘for sale’ message, I’ve received seven offers of help to run/man the shop until the PHO for the unvaccinated finishes.

THAT is amazing!

While I had resigned myself to handing over the reins for good, there is a small part of me that so wants to take up their offers, but who knows how long this PHO will stretch? A month would be feasible but if it stretched to three or six months, that is a huge commitment to expect from anyone.

Maybe after the peaceful protests this weekend, decisions will be made that provide a better idea of what to expect. There are MANY carloads travelling to Brisbane from as far north as Rockhampton and for those who can’t travel distances, there are protests in Maryborough, Bundaberg, Gympie and other regional areas.

Anyway, I am incredibly touched by the offers of help and it shows how important the shop is to this community.

Warm and fuzzies.

I had a great visit from an old friend Maggie May this morning. She used to live here, has lived north and south of here during the last ten years and is now moving back. We babbled on for about 90 minutes - with a couple of interruptions from customers.

She’s one of my faves from when we first moved here and I’m so pleased that she’s moving back!

It was another really good day of sales and time passed so quickly that Adoring Husband surprised me when he walked in to help me close the shop.

I’ve had a nice lazy afternoon unwinding and AH cooked dinner for us.

Now it’s bed time for me. I expect to fall asleep watching the movie ‘The Holiday’.

Nite all.

Life As We Know It

I passed my happy minimum today and had a good day with a visit from Aggie in the mix.

Tonight I posted on Facebook that due to up coming Covid restrictions I was selling the shop …

ROZ’S HAPPY PLACE - FOR SALE:

Due to up-coming Covid restrictions as well as some personal reasons, it is with great reluctance and a very heavy heart, that I am offering the shop for sale.

If I am unable to find anybody who will love this beautiful space as I do, I will be closing the shop by Christmas.

I am announcing it here first with hopes that a loyal follower might be interested.

Aside from current stock and goodwill, what you will receive and what I will deeply miss -

-  A place where everybody knows your name

-  A warm sense of social closeness

-  A vibe and energy that makes you look forward to walking through the door every morning

-  A large contingent of annual holiday makers who’s itinerary includes visiting the shop

-  A community of other local businesses who will support you and offer advice when asked

-  A bunch of local clubs and groups who use the shop for specific purchases

-  A posse of locals who bring their visiting families to the shop, showing it off as if it was their own

-  A small but loyal number of interstate customers who regularly make phone purchases from your Facebook posts

-  A hub currently bringing like minded people together to share and learn in fun classes

-  A small convoy of friendly sales reps who visit regularly showing off their wares

-  A grateful community who recognise this space as a valuable asset

Please PM me if you are genuinely interested ❤️

I had a dream last night that I was bitten by a snake. The two translations that I found were:

  1. I’ve been putting something off and need to do it! (Posting about the shop)
  2. The bite represents injecting healing serum to strengthen health. (I’ve just started to focus on my diet and have removed the foods that have caused inflammation)
I’ll take both of those translations, but I definitely took it as a sign to move on the shop decision.

It’s a difficult decision but after a month of tossing it around, I’ve come to terms with it and I’m ready for whatever happens from here.

So far the responses have been supportive.

I’ve seen some disappointing vaccine related comments from friends on FB today and I can see my circle dwindling.

I guess it’s to be expected that some have strong views about people like me who choose not to vaccinate and while I post lots of information here that conflicts with mainstream views, I still believe in pro-choice and I don’t believe in mandates.

I don’t use social media to criticise and insult my vaccinated friends because it’s their choice.

It’s my choice to share information here and it’s your choice to read it or not and to believe it or not.

One way or another, life is about to change forever. There will be new challenges and I’ve already sketched a vague outline of what I plan for my future. We’ll see what the universe has in store!

Now it’s sleep time for me.

Nite all.

Of Interest

What a day!

Only six of our regulars attended meditation where we talked about “What do you believe?” do you believe your inner dialogue that tells you that you’re not good enough,  not smart enough, not artistic enough, too fat, too thin, too ugly, too loud, too sick … well you get the gist.

We talked about how little by little we can be conditioned to believe anything. It can start with just one glib comment in your childhood. Another kid saying “you’re fat” or “you’re a loser” can plant the seed.

It was a great animated discussion that we all enjoyed.

Three of the ladies hung around for thirty minutes afterwards while The Gypsy and I spent over an hour chatting - as we do - until she had to leave.

From the moment she left, the shop became crazy busy!

Sales were fantastic!

It was weird because I was thinking of closing the shop for the rest of the week to have a break while it was quiet - but it’s definitely NOT quiet.

Adoring Husband bought himself a gift today

- as we prepare for being unvaccinated outcasts and not allowed into cafes and restaurants, clubs or pubs - we will set up our home so that there is no need to venture into the vaccinated world.

He also picked up my pink amethyst with druzy crystal from Tinkerbells …

It’s much safer for him to pick up my lay-bys because if I do it, I buy something else AND lay-by something else!

I’m about to cook dinner - probably salmon - and I’ll definitely have an early night. It took me so long to wind down after the art class last night that I didn’t get to sleep until late and then had to be up at 6am.

I’m feeling weary.

Nite all.

PS More Covid fun …

And this …

The Brownstone Institute has so much excellent information accessible and amidst it all I found this …

 128 Research Studies

Again … nite all.

Not Even

This will be short and sweet.

Had a fabulous day of sales - topped up beautifully by two ladies who walked through the door at 2pm (closing time) just as I was about to start the journaling class.

I hung around for 15 minutes waiting for them to make their purchase and by that time, one of them placed an $18 pair of earrings on the counter and said “I’m still looking!”

Another ten minutes passed before they finally came to pay for their selections, by which time I was getting a bit antsy because my 90 minute class had now been reduced to 60 minutes.

They made the wait pretty sweet because between them they spent over $250!!!

Thank you very much.

As they left, another four people tried to enter but Adoring Husband turned them away. They said they would return tomorrow.

On the way home we stopped at the caravan park where the Thai food van was parked and we ordered the braised beef and noodles.

For me, it was bloody delicious, jam packed with flavour and so much of it that I could only eat half. The only problem was that it wasn’t really braised beef - it was beef meatballs.

They tasted amazing and I enjoyed every mouthful.

Adoring Husband was however, not impressed. He thought the carrots were under cooked and he didn’t like the texture of the meatballs. He did like the flavour of the liquid.

Next time we’ll try a different dish. There are many to choose from.

I didn’t have long at home before it was time to go to my art class.

Not even a little bit happy with the result …

There were only 8 of us in attendance this time (25 last time).

That was my last class because I’m not vaccinated so I won’t be allowed into any clubs.

Bugger.

I guess this wasn’t so short after all!

Nite all.

Weekend Over

I quite enjoyed my Monday.

Adoring Husband brought me some lemon water and some breakfast in bed.

I spent a lot of time on the Covid road again and already created one blog post today full of that.

At 1pm I decided to go for a swim and the water was divine! The sun was very warm and I floated on my back soaking up as much Vit D as I possibly could while listening to my playlist on the sound bar. I swam about 15 laps doing all the strokes except butterfly. I saved a ladybug from drowning.

Eventually I had to go to the shop to clear the training room ready for morning tea.

Adoring Husband had picked up the mail and there were two packages of stock for the shop, which I opened but didn't check off the invoice.

I had two sales from Saturday that I had to package up and take to the Post Office.

We did some grocery shopping and stocked up on berries, watermelon and salmon steaks.

We drove to the Bowls Club so that I could book and pay for the art class on Tuesday evening.

I made a delicious berry smoothie for afternoon tea.

Salmon and salad for dinner.

The TV was booked for Dr Who, Big Brother VIP and Love Island.

Now it’s 10.30pm and I’m ready for bed.

Nite all.

Hear Me

Dr Peter McCullough - Cardiologist/Epidemiologist - 650+ peer reviewed publications in the National Library of Medicine - 51 of them are papers on Covid 19.

Spends 50% of his time in clinical practice and 50% in scientific research.

Has dedicated his scientific research to Covid 19 for the last 20 months.

Travels the US giving seminars and talks to spread the word about his results and findings.

Has been threatened to stop or have his licence revoked but he knows there is nothing they can do because everything he says is factual and cited from published papers from research centres, medical universities, highly respected scientists etc.

Since he began speaking out, mainstream and social media are doing everything they can to discredit him.

* There are many important people from various professions in USA who have had business and personal assets frozen because they are speaking out about the Covid and vaccinations. Despite this, they have not stopped speaking out because they want to be on the right side of history. *

Dr McCullough is currently focusing on the children and the introduction of the jabs for ages 5 - 11 yr olds.

He says that children have a “Thymus” located behind the sternum and between the lungs. Thymosin is the hormone of the thymus and it stimulates the development of disease fighting T-cells. After puberty, it slowly, over many years, shrinks and is replaced by fat.

This is why children fare so well with Covid and should NOT be given the vaccine.

He says that the vaccines genetically take over a mosaic of cells in the body to produce the spike protein. The spike protein can directly damage the heart, the brain and other vital organs (including the thymus).

There are now officially new diseases called ‘spike protein disease’ and VITT (Vaccine Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia)

According to a leading scientist, Bruce Patterson, his studies show that it takes 15 months for your body to release these spike proteins. If you have a booster every 6 months, the spike protein will not leave your body and the damage it can and will do to your organs will make you sicker and weaker.

14,000+ doctors in USA are calling for a vaccine halt. They’ve all written to the CDC and are being ignored.

In the under 30s in US there have been 11,000 cases of myocarditis. 86% hospitalised. 13% left with permanent damage.

It will be much worse in 5 - 11yr olds and they are now using Sesame Street to convince young children to get vaccinated.

In January this year there was strong evidence that the vaccines were unsafe but there are no safety committees to report on them. All other vaccines have a monthly safety report from independent committees - but not Covid.

There is now an independent group doing an analysis of the current VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) data in America. (19,000 deaths) - Harvard studies show that only 1% of all events are reported to VAERS.

50% of reported deaths are inside America - 50% from other countries.

Half of the deaths occur within 48 hours of vax. 80% within a week. 86% of the deaths had no other explanation.

Over 75s are more likely to die from the vax just as they are more likely to die from the disease.

Studies have also shown that one third of the population already have a natural immunity to Covid. Their healthy bodies have created the antibodies to protect against viruses. This is why you know people who never get colds and flu.

Vaccinating the naturally immune will do more harm than good.

Queensland is now following the same path as NSW and VIC.

THE QLD president of the AMA (Australian Medical Association) said in an interview last week “Life will be miserable without being vaccinated. You won’t be able to hide … you are going to have a very lonely life.”

Their fear campaign includes lines such as

  • The virus will hunt you out!
  • People deserve to know if you are unvaccinated!
  • There will be segregation.
  • You will NOT maintain your employment.
  • There is only one decision for you to make.
  • You are a danger to your community.
A warning from the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemoller …

… and this

It is just beginning for us in this state. Everything we’ve seen down south will happen here. The Premier is desperate because Queenslanders are the slowest moving to get vaccinated and they are going to take desperate measures to increase the numbers.

It has nothing to do with the actual disease itself and if you believe that narrative, it makes me sad for your future.

What do you know of this?

Go to the Govt website and download the 109 page document

Censorship has manipulated our very existence and the world as we know it is very much under threat.

It’s not even about wealth anymore because the  powerful are so wealthy that money means nothing. The powerful have become more powerful and we are pawns in a global game that uses fear, manipulation, panic, survival instincts, debate, censorship, lies, coercion, illness, mandates, violence, bullying, deception and so much more to increase their power.

There are two sides to this world.

Truth vs Lies - Consent vs Coercion - Truth vs Censorship - Vaccinated vs Unvaccinated - Health vs Illness - Workers vs Mandates - Governments vs People - State vs State - Science vs Policy - Education vs Ignorance - Powerful vs Everyone else.

What we need to do now is fight, adapt and find resilience.

Almost 100,000 people marched the streets of Melbourne last week. Every week they March and every week the crowds increase in size.

Thousands of medical workers have quit or lost their jobs and are speaking out while hundreds who have been vaccinated and are still employed are speaking out and providing not only vax injury information, but questionable directions and orders that they’ve received on the job.

Sacked Police are speaking out about the orders they were told to follow but refused.

Mainstream media and Social Media are doing everything to stop these stories from getting to you. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, and more recently TikTok now censor anything that goes against the narrative.

You will only be told what they want you to know.

We are all victims in one way or another. My life is about to change as I sacrifice my beautiful business for what I believe in. Adoring Husband is withdrawing from SES as they demand proof of vaccine status.

All this for a virus that was man made, patented before it existed and planned many years in advance.

There is so much information that I can’t figure out how to share it all.

That’s my purge for today and it’s not even lunch time!

Have a beautiful day.

Go The Girlies

A good time was had by all.

It was the perfect day for morning tea and lunch with the girls.

The weather was mild and the sun was shining.

People everywhere were happy, as were we.

The Brains Trust began the pick up service at 9.10am and I was the first stop. Beauty was next and as we pulled into her driveway, her hubby wandered over and asked us where we were off to?

“Um … morning tea and lunch for Aggie’s birthday! Has Beauty forgotten?”

He walked inside the house and out came Beauty still in her morning walking clothes!

Oh dear.

A few good snorts of laughter from The Brains Trust, an agreement to go pick up Aggie and return for Beauty and fifteen minutes later we were on our way into The Bay.

We started behind Dayman’s General Store at “The Little General” where the girls had coffee and I had a cold pressed juice.

It was very busy in the outdoor area but the four of us probably made more noise than anybody with our loud laughter - mostly teasing each other about all sorts of stuff.

We arrived at our lunch time destination thirty minutes early - even though we were stopped by a very talented artist who was in for a chat to tell us his “I was discovered by a wealthy entrepreneur who purchased six of my paintings for his 280 foot yacht” story.

His artwork is beautiful and the piece I selected was $22,000. Although, given the chance, I’m sure I could create a pretty good copy of it myself!

At our chosen restaurant - Cafe Balaena - three of us ordered the Thai Calamari salad and one ordered the roasted pumpkin and beetroot salad with goat’s cheese.

I had a fresh juice of watermelon, celery and something else - it was ALL delicious and to top it off there was live entertainment. A lovely lady on keyboard who was beautifully singing a Nora Jones song as we arrived.

It was a lovely atmosphere and our food was served promptly which meant we were able to finish up and get some shopping in before returning home. I purchased a cute Summer top.

I didn’t take note of the time but I think I was home by about 3pm.

While Adoring Husband spent time in the garden, I got changed and discovered that Foxtel was showing all of the Twilight movies. I’d already missed the first two and half of the third, but I still got to watch the last half of Eclipse and then the two Breaking Dawn movies.

We had paleo pizzas for dinner and I put a lot less filling than usual - spinach, mushroom, onion, bacon and fresh pineapple. Two slices or one third (the pizza bases are the size of bread and butter plates) is usually more than enough for me, but tonight I ate the whole thing!

It appears that my Monday is not going to be much of a rest day for me. I have a ‘to do’ list that is quite long.

Which means I should get myself to bed.

I thought I would leave you with this Andrea Bocelli video …

What a nice way to end my evening 🥰

Nite all.
