Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Truly Trumped

I knew he would win.

Beyoncé nor Taylor Swift could save the incredibly incompetent Kamala Harris.

With Trump, what you see is what you get.

With Harris, you get a weak puppet manipulated by the rich and powerful.

There were many “stars” who declared that they would move from USA if Trump won - Cher, Bryan Cranston, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, Samuel L Jackson, Lena Dunham, Neve Campbell and more.

Do they really believe that anyone really cares?

They are just people.

Flesh and blood like the rest of us.

Their political opinions mean nothing and moving to another country will change nothing, except their living arrangements!

Trump’s victory shows how social media has more power than mainstream media.

He turned his back on MSM calling them “fake news” and rushed into the open arms of social media platforms like BitChute, Rumble, Truth Social, Tik Tok, Podcasters and any others that refuse to censor people and who believe in freedom of speech.

I love seeing MSM squirming in their seats now - they were so certain that Trump had no chance.

Anyway, that’s how I spent my day - watching the election results, listening to influential Americans talk about the failings of Trump and how he was going to lose and by how much, while raving about how Harris would be triumphant.

I also watched a movie called “Two Guns” with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg. I enjoyed it.

It was a day of rest. A good day.

Time to sleep.

Nite all.
