#100happydays photo for today ...
Happiness is just bee-ing :)
Adoring Husband arrived home safe n sound from his SES training in Marburg, after a detour to visit his granddaughter Evie and new little grandson, Seth for a couple of days. Perhaps I'll get to share his photos after he downloads them!
I got a little studying done today, although I got a little frustrated at some calculations that I'm having trouble with, so I had to step away from the computer and the books and I'll go back to it tomorrow.
I'm off to Bunya Mountains on Friday with The Nikonian, The Craft Queen, Mellylicious, Jman and Mr W. We have a big weekend of photography planned and I'm pretty excited about it!
So it's time for me to get some sleep. Big day of packing and cooking and menu planning tomorrow.
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
