Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Fast Quick Rapid

The days are flying and each 24 hours feels like just 8 hours.

I just looked at the clock and it’s already 11.30pm! How did that happen?!

I really enjoyed an hour on FT with my girls this morning.

Adoring Husband mowed the front lawn while I checked my emails. He needed to lie down for a while after that, so I made a green smoothie and chopped up a pineapple for lunch. AH ate some leftover sausages and washed them down with the smoothie followed by pineapple for dessert.

We decided to watch Grey’s Anatomy from the beginning and got through the first four episodes before it was time to cook dinner. I made some chicken and pork meatballs with a spicy dipping sauce which we ate with salad.

Vegan Chickie recommended we watch a series on Netflix called “Tiger King” so we looked at the trailer for it and it looked intriguing enough to watch the first episode.

All I can say is ... only in America ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I received this mini hand held diffuser in the mail today.

It works for exactly 60 seconds. Just add water and a couple of drops of essential oil.

And just like that it was 12.30am!

Nite all.
