This challenge is taken from another, called Day Zero Project, where you list 101 things to do/achieve in 1001 days.
I think you need 1001 days when you are trying to achieve set goals, because they require a lot more time, planning, money and effort than taking photographs does.
When you are as obsessed as I am, I believe that 404 days will be more than enough!
Thank you to my Arty Farty Friend for providing me with twenty ideas for my list. I was struggling with the last twenty eight, so that was very helpful!
The first eighteen on the list are from my Arty Farty Friend (2 from her list were already on mine), so they are also my challenge for the month and I'll do them first. The rest, I'll do in no particular order.
Some photos from this morning's ride.
Tomorrow, Adoring Husband and I are off to the Reptile Park. Hopefully, we don't get rained out again. We have an early start, so I'm off to bed.
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
