This probably means that our lime tree is in big trouble ...
Interesting looking creature up close and personal hey? He was hungry and ate that leaf pretty quickly.
Adoring Husband might be disappointed to hear that I didn't kill it.
You would think that Helen (the one remaining Lovely Laying Chook), who has been freely roaming the garden for the past few weeks, would have kept these blighters at bay wouldn't you?
Had a lovely chat on the phone with Best Cousin in the World today.
Nothing else to report.
Today I am grateful to have a Best Cousin in the World, who sells my hand made bracelets in her far away land. Saleswoman of the year! Thanks Cuz!
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
