Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

A Bit Sorry

Meditation was almost a full house and we talked about “following our intuition”.

Surprisingly, there were a few tears during the class as people had some aha moments that touched them a little deeper than usual.

The Gypsy stayed for about an hour afterwards and we talked ‘life’.

I had a nice visit from Aggie but I’m a bit sorry that I chewed her ear off about stuff. Sorry Aggie 😘

I mentioned to a few of my regulars that I was planning on selling the shop so word should spread pretty fast and some time soon I’ll post it onto the Facebook page.

Then it’s ‘wait and see’.

I passed my minimum takings today but it was slow going.

The local caravan parks are looking very empty at the moment. Next week might be a good time to shut the shop so that I can have a staycation.

Adoring Husband bought some seafood for me today but he didn’t realise the sand crabs were uncooked. I attempted to cook them by following the instructions that I found online, but the meat was mush so they went in the bin.

What a waste!

Instead I ate some prawns and AH had leftover chicken. Mixed fresh berries with LF cream for dessert.

It was a night of trashy TV. Big Brother VIP, The Bachelorette and Love Island.

It’s almost midnight so I’d best get some sleep.

Nite all.
