Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Delivered

Adoring Husband made some tea and toast for my breakfast and delivered it to me in bed, which was lovely.

My online shopping has been at full force lately and today I received two packages in the mail.

I used the last of my wholesale access to purchase eleven organite pyramids to scatter through my veggie gardens.

They were delivered today.

An organite necklace to wear whilst using my devices and a selenite stone to rest on whatever chakra needs work while I’m floating in the pool.

We did some grocery shopping to cover us for the Easter weekend so that we don’t have to fight the hoards of tourists for the next four days.

I cooked a whole chicken, prepared a coleslaw and a green salad from all the goodies in the garden, which, by the way, is absolutely thriving and exploding out of the covered pod!

We watched a great game of football where the Cowboys defeated the Raiders and put AH and I in a good position in the footy tipping for this week.

I accepted both quotes and completed the paperwork for BGWLBH’s move + storage.

AH is still sitting beside me in the lounge room and it’s almost 11.30pm AND he is awake! Unheard of!

I think it’s time for bed.

Nite all.
