Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Monday is Sunday

It’s only 8 minutes but has information you should know.

Today was my Sunday and I spent the entire day in my office (aka my bed) setting out some goals for Roz’s Happy Place, learning how to create an e-course and laying out the bones of an e-course idea. I hope to create it in 60 days and I also hope that I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew!

In the last few days I’ve learned how to set up a social media content calendar for business pages, found 100 ways to market a business and looked at ways to diversify to create income.

It’s all fun and games, feeds my curious brain, soothes my restless soul and satisfies my hunger for more.

Adoring Husband thinks I’m special 😍

So now I’ve partially filled two more journals and I’m inspired to do more than I am capable of achieving in a short time. I will try.

On top of that, I’ll be doing a monthly newsletter for Roz’s Happy Place which will have workshop info, advice on new stock arriving, a recipe, a special monthly discount offer for subscribers to the newsletter, links to special websites and first dibs on my e-course when it’s ready.

It’s after 10pm and I have an early start tomorrow. I’d like to be at the shop before 8am if possible and be able to relax with the girls for our weekly coffee date at 9am.

So... nite all.
