I am pleased to announce that an MRI today, verified that Adoring Husband, does indeed, have a brain :D
We drove all the way to Bundaberg with Woman of Many Talents and her partner Bob the Builder.
Adoring Husband wasn't allowed to drive after his MRI, so they came along and drove us home after lunch at Sizzlers.
They made, what could have been quite a stressful day, very pleasant and much easier to handle.
Thank you lovely people :D
I spent the entire day without my camera!! **Look of genuine shock**
After proving that he has a brain, Adoring Husband then ordered me a new camera - the Canon 5D Mark III - which will arrive in 5 days, just in time for our first road trip with the campervan!
That's very exciting!
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
