Here she is...
We had a fabulous afternoon together, mostly in the garden, and I've been feeling the love.
Tomorrow they move to the Sunshine Coast and our lunches and coffee visits come to an end.

Our visits may be less often but they will last longer! We will look forward to those visits.

Adoring Husband's 95 yr old Mum had a fall at the nursing home tonight and she has been admitted to hospital. She hit her head and injured herself badly enough that she has to have an MRI to check that she doesn't have a brain bleed or any other damage.
We hope that her injuries are superficial and that she can go back to the nursing home, without any lasting effects, as soon as possible.
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
