Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Writing Writing Writing

Proof that Ivermectin was the ideal treatment after all ... Ivermectin the ideal treatment

I didn't wake up until 9am this morning! Harley was perfectly happy in his pen in the corner so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noises.

That's more than nine hours of sleep and I fell asleep to the sound of 528 HZ healing frequencies music. Tonight I'm going to try the 111 HZ healing frequency music.

After playing with Harley, I took my "Luxury" photo for the 52Frames theme this week and submitted it. I had requested help from BGWLBH three times during the week because she's always pushing her ideas onto me at the last minute in other weeks.

I told her last Monday to put her thinking cap on. Reminded her again on Wednesday and again on Friday to no avail.

So I went with this ...

My own patch of luxury in the back yard.

From there, I made myself a late breakfast and returned to my room to continue with my book. I wrote the opening page letter to my children, finished Chapter Three and am almost finished Chapter Four.

It's tough for me to actually open the app to get started, but once I've typed the first word, it all just flows and then it's tough for me to stop!

At 4pm I forced myself to stop so that Harley could have some play time and then I cooked dinner. GF meat pies with mashed potatoes and a delicious mix of vegetables - leeks, green beans, snow peas, carrot sticks, zucchini sticks and tomato cooked in garlic butter.

We all played trivia for an hour and I watched Farmer Wants a Wife before retiring to the bedroom.

I need to get up early for meditation so it's definitely sleep time for me.

Nite all.
