Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

I’m Alive!

It has been a quiet, uneventful few days.

Meditation on Tuesday was a small class, but inspiring and spiritually educational.

The Gypsy had a hair appointment afterwards, so we didn’t get to catch up. We organised two different ZOOM meetings, but due to circumstances beyond our control, both had to be cancelled.

The stars will align for us eventually.

My health has been a bit challenging this week, because my diet has been a bit slack, so I’m back on the bone broth, extra filtered water and fresh fruit. I’ve added some of this to my regimen …

It’s for gut health, liver health, balancing moods, joint health, maintaining energy throughout the day and providing antioxidants for stronger immunity.

Today was my first day, so I can’t really give an honest review yet. I’ll try to remember on Friday.

The weather has been warm.

Harley has been playful.

Adoring Husband has been working in the yard.

BGWLBH has been arting.

I did some washing today and caught up on my reality tv shows.

For dinner, I prepared roast pumpkin, spinach and pine nut salad to go with turkey meatballs in sweet spicy sauce.

I received a Wednesday Waffle video from Vegan Chickie, which was lovely.

That’s about the long and short of my week so far.

The next three days will be busy busy busy, so I need sleep!

Nite all.
