Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Humping Harley

Ahhh the sweet memories …

 https://rumble.com/v2ntdk8-media-the-unvaccinated-are-scum.html?fbclid=IwAR2tFW9AxikWj8Gp7WDt6UUuxyVG5ioYa5rgMbkIIFD-yuqRpqf6GCsayVo

The memories are not sweet at all and every one of those commentators, journalists, news readers and people in power should be ashamed of themselves.

Harley and I had a long walk this morning and right at the end we got caught in the rain. When the rain stopped we spent 20 minutes playing fetch around the pool.

BGWLBH made a delicious pumpkin soup which we savoured for lunch.

I did some art and watched some telly.

We’ve had quite a bit of rain today and it was too wet for our afternoon play around the pool. Harley was not happy.

We are off to the vet tomorrow to introduce Harley to Dr Amanda and to organise desexing. By law Harley needs to be desexed. He’s been humping his bed! It’s time!

It’s also time for me to sleep.

Nite all.
