I forgot about my blog last night.

Friday was quiet.

Adoring Husband drove into The Bay for an appointment and to run some errands, which included a trip to Bunnings (BGWLBH and I don’t do Bunnings!).

I sat on the couch catching up on my recorded TV shows and of course had some Harley play.

There were two games of footy to watch.

Today was voting day, but first, BGWLBH and I drove into town. 

We stocked up on some art supplies at Spotlight. I purchased 4 new bras from Harris Scarfe, one of which STILL has the security attachment on it so I’ll have to return next week to have that removed!

A nice trip to Office Works where I got myself one of those little instamatic cameras and some film. I like the idea of taking a photo to send with Chicklet’s letter each time.

I picked up some new toys for Harley. He hasn’t had a toy (apart from balls) for quite some time, because he chews them into a thousand pieces in ten minutes flat!

Today, I got him a stuffed squeaking shark which is (or was) about a foot long. It literally took him ten minutes to destroy it. I also got a stuffed frog, which I haven’t given him yet, and a rope toy.

I bought a spiky ball which I was going to use for my sore foot as a massage ball, but it hurts too much so I gave it to Harley. It has a squeak in it and he squeaked his way all through the last two games of football tonight.

At least he’s happy 🐶

I have a spur under my right foot, right under the big toe. It is PAINFUL all the time and the pain wakes me up at night, but I spent too much time walking on it today. My foot is swollen and it is aching big time!

My remedy is to wrap it in a castor oil/cayenne pepper poultice overnight, every night for the next week. We’ll see how that goes.

I cooked chicken and chips for dinner.

We watched three footy matches for the first super Saturday of the season.

Now I’m tired and I need sleep.

Triple Treat

Three days in a row out of the house. 

Harley will start questioning who his mother is!

A day in the Bay yesterday before picking up the FROG box.

A morning in The Bay today before meeting The Motivator for lunch at Arkarra Tea Gardens.

The food and the company was lovely but the mosquitoes and bats made the experience a little unpleasant.

So no news to speak of, even our evening meals have been so boring they’re not worth mentioning.

We’ve had some more rain. 

Broncos beat Rabbitohs in the first game of round two in NRL comp tonight. In AFL, my beloved Carlton defeated Richmond! A good start to the weekend.

Now it’s time to sleep.

Today was meditation and qi gong followed by a three hour session with The Gypsy. It was a great day. Tiring but great.

I came home in time for my quiz shows.

Dinner was duck covered in chilli cranberry sauce with potato and sweet potato mash along with snap peas and baby carrots cooked in garlic and butter.

MAFS night!

Oscars Night

I watched a great movie today called “Damsel” with Millie Bobby Brown in the strong female lead. It’s on Netflix. Not a movie for everyone but I enjoyed it.

Adoring Husband and I spent an hour drilling holes and attaching hooks under the Bali hut this morning and I now have (approximately) 40 pretty things - lead light mobiles, wind chimes, crystals, creatures, hearts of different sizes and materials, bells, spinners, felt, feathers and more.

I’ll take a pic tomorrow and count how many there are.

We’ve had some scudding rain today - just like yesterday - and I think this pattern will continue throughout the week.

Harley surprised me today. He has to stay outside after we play because he’s always wet from jumping in the pool.

Usually I close both the glass sliding door AND the screen door, when I come inside but today I left the glass door open AND I didn’t pull the screen door shut properly.

He used his nose to slide the screen door wide open and stood in the doorway looking at me - I was in the lounge room quite some distance from the door - I called out to him “You can’t come in. You stay outside.”

He lay down on the doorstep and stayed outside for an hour (with the door still wide open) - until I went to him and told him he could come in!

I was suitably impressed. He’s such a clever boy and I love him to pieces.

It’s sleep time for me.

Rain and Rest

It’s been a rainy Sunday.

Not constant drenching rain, but scudding rain, short bursts of light rain lasting long enough to wet the ground and form some small puddles.

I remained inside watching movies and eating.

I also received lots of kisses and cuddles from Harley.

Dinner tonight was buttered barramundi with home made chips and salad.

I’d like to sleep now.

BGWLBH and I ran a stall at the markets this morning. It was our worst market so far. I DID get my money back for the cost of the space so I guess that’s a good thing.

There were lots of locals to catch up with, which was nice, but the weather was not our friend.

The winds were strong and gusty, blowing our wares off the tables and even breaking the glass on one of BGWLBH’s picture frames.

We packed up an hour early before the wind could lift our gazebo to the heavens.

I spent $45 at another stall on home made dresses for little Hazey, so I definitely ended the day with a loss.

Ah well.

I was awake at 4.30am and we returned home at 11.30am. By 2.30pm I was in bed attempting (unsuccessfully) to nap.

Spaghetti bolognese for dinner and immediately back to bed. It’s 8pm and I’m knackered.

In America at 18. for a century, its production was mandatory, and the farmers who did not produce were closed. But now the situation has turned upside down. FROM WHERE ?

👎-Rockefeller was the richest man in the world. I was an oil company owner. Biofuel, hemp oil, was, of course, his biggest enemy.

👎-Melon was one of the leading shareholders of the Dupont company and had a patent for the production of plastic from oil derivatives. And the cannabis industry has threatened its market.

Melon later became President Hoover's finance minister. Those big names we were talking about decided at their meetings that cannabis is the enemy and they removed it. Through the media they have engraved marijuana into people's brains as a poisonous drug, along with the word marijuana.

Cannabis drugs have been removed from the market, replaced with chemicals used today.

Forests are cut for paper production.

Plague poisoning and cancer are on the rise.

And then we fill our world with plastic waste, harmful waste..

Today I played the role of counsellor.

My world is full of struggling unhappy women and this past weekend landed some triggering events for many of them.

While I am more than happy to be a sounding board and a strong shoulder, three sad people can be draining, so I’m feeling some very low energy vibes tonight.

Hopefully a good sleep will help me feel more uplifted tomorrow.

I crumbed some chicken for dinner and served it with minted tomato & cucumber, coleslaw, home made beetroot, pineapple and cold fried rice.

I’m struggling to keep my eyes open so I gotta sleep!

BGWLBH’s car required a service today - at the Nissan centre.

We drove into town and did some business, after which we dropped the car at Nissan.

They have a courtesy bus which dropped us at Pialba place where I returned some white pants and exchanged them for a smaller size (always nice when you require a smaller size), slowly browsed through every shop within a one kilometre radius and I spent money on three tops and one pair of white jeggings.

We enjoyed coffee.

We did NOT enjoy the long wait for the courtesy bus to return and take us back to Nissan.

It was a long day.

Now I need to sleep. I have booked a session with The Gypsy tomorrow morning.
