There is a Twilight movie marathon on Foxtel tonight. I am onto the fourth movie of five, but I doubt that I'll stay up to watch the final one.
I am in total relaxation mode tonight, so this blog post will be short.
I'm adding the links to the ABC's Catalyst shows about gut health. I put the links here last year, but they have just been replayed on the ABC, and I believe they are worth reposting here.
Gut Reaction: Part 1
Gut Reaction: Part 2
I hope you learn something from them. I picked up on a few things that I missed last year when I watched it. Adoring Husband even watched them with me!
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
