Not much to report today.

A few laughs.
A few snorts.
A couple of sales.
A bit of rain.
Paid some bills.
Made an order.
Few customers.
A quiet lunch.
A couple of business calls.
Closed at 3pm.
Ate 3 icy poles!! (GF coconut icy poles similar to the old Pine Splice)
Did some washing.
Watched some youtube art.
Made a shopping list for Adoring Husband's trip to The Bay tomorrow.
Cooked a quick, delicious, nutritious dinner.
Ate another icy pole 😳
Watched House Rules.
Decided to open The Happy Abode this Friday (Show Day).
Thought about another icy pole, but decided against it.
Felt grateful for my life.
Going to bed early (got meditation early in the morning)
Have a great hump day!
Nite all.
I'm lazy and selfish and spend too much time on the internet. I love to be creative with photography and jewellery and sketching with pencil and pastels. I'm happier now than I have ever been and I love everything about my life ... where I live, my home, my fantastic grown up children, my lifestyle, my friends, my dogs and last but not least my wonderful adoring husband. Life is good!
Nice to see you!
Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.
Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**
Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!
So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!
Welcome to my dilemna!!
