Nice to see you!

Three major events occurred for me last year (2010), all in the space of about 2 weeks. I turned 50. The following day I got married. Two weeks later, my oldest daughter became pregnant with her first child and my first grandchild.

Most middle-aged people will tell you that in their minds, they still feel 20 something. It's the same for me.

Wasn't it only yesterday that I was planning a night out with guys from the surf club? That gorgeous new perm. Flaired, cuffed denims and the red t-shirt with the off-the-shoulder frill. Corked platform wedgies. **sigh**

Suddenly I'm looking in the mirror and wondering how 30 years can flash by so damned quickly!

So here I am in cyberspace, sharing my genuine shock and horror with anyone who'll listen and maybe I'll even meet some other over 50s who find themselves in the same predicament!

Welcome to my dilemna!!

Sundayyyyyy

While most people believe that Pfizer Covid vaccine is fully approved, if you go to Australian Government Dept of Health website, you will see that it is only ‘provisionally’ approved.

This means that it’s still in the trial period.

All of the Covid vaccines are ‘provisionally’ approved and it will be 2023 before any of them can be fully approved.

Anyway … my Sunday has been lazy and uneventful.

At 10.30am I made pancakes with bacon, caramelised banana, ice cream and pure maple syrup for my breakfast.

I played Sequence with BGWLBH while Adoring Husband replaced the handle on the toilet door.

We watched the football and I am still on top of the tipping ladder.

My belly then decided to react poorly to my breakfast and I came to bed at 5pm where I stayed. Sadly, the team had to fend for themselves at dinner time but I have no idea 🤷 how they fared.

I slept for over an hour but I think I’m ready for more sleep. Perhaps I’ll wake up early enough in the morning for a walk?

Nite all.
